Correlation Between Reduction of Crime & ACTS Community Crime Events

East Patrol Statistics and ACTS Event Schedules

The next six pages are murder stats from 2007-2012 in the total area of the East Patrol as provided by the Kansas City Police Department and ACTS Events Schedules and the correlations between them.

As you look at the next two pages, please take note of the correlation between when ACTS had done 2 outreaches in a month as compared
to none.  There is a significant difference between those numbers that demonstrates a reduction of murder when we do at least 2 outreaches.

Comments:

Last year alone we have touched more than 20,000 doors and have ministered to more than 10,000 people by doing Community Outreaches and events bringing life and hope to them by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, providing school supplies for children, misdemeanor warrant relief, distributing food and clothing to hundreds of families, giving away haircuts, doing crime prevention awareness by partnering with many different organizations and doing many other things for the community here in the Kansas City area.

We believe that because of our outreaches and events we have seen a reduction of crime in the higher crime neighborhoods in the East Patrol in Kansas City. Since 2006 we have been involved with or coordinated approximately 55 outreaches, touched over 100,000 doors, and ministered approximately 60,000 people and a majority of them are in the higher crime areas of Kansas City, Missouri.

Again statistics have shown, as you can see from this analysis, in the last 6 years Kansas City’s East Patrol has seen a reduction of murder on average per months of at least 50% during summer months when ACTS outreaches were active at least twice a month.

This analysis will be distributed to City Council, KC Chamber of Commerce, majority of media outlets, Chief of Police, and churches around KC Area.  We are hoping to set a meeting with you soon.

These are the statistical murder records from the Kansas City Police Department and all Events can be verified by the Kansas City Parks and Recreation Department.
